Sales Manager –  Aquachem DAC

Reporting to:

Managing Director

Overall Purpose:

To plan, organise, co-ordinate and oversee the management of the sales, function in Aquachem DAC.

Job & Context

Key Performance Areas

  1. Direct and co-ordinate company sales activities
  2. Prepare overall company sales strategy & have it approved at board level
  3. Prepare sales annual operating plan and have it approved at Board level
  4. Develop sales plan in conjunction with all key stakeholders ensuring that product pricing, positioning & promotion is in line with overall company aims and objectives
  5. Develop sales execution plan in conjunction with other senior team members & stakeholders. Key elements of this plan will include.
      • Prioritise initial targets in tier 1, 2 & 3 customer categories.
      • Directly manage key client accounts
      • Implement plan to manage all accounts in an efficient manner.
      • Focus own efforts and team efforts on delivering sales results.
      • Build and nurture strong business relationships with customer base.
  1. Understand who are company’s competitors & monitor competitor activities
  2. Understand the industry and adjust strategy in line with changing industry needs
  3. Develop great people through capabilities development and by implementing robust performance management system.
  4. Work closely with the instillation team to ensure that sales forecasts are provided in a timely fashion so that the supply side of the business can be operated cost effectively and to the highest possible level of quality and customer service
  5. Provide monthly quarterly and annual reporting to all stakeholders in a timely fashion.
